Our Wedding

Tia and Michael met like any other couple...on an inpatient psychiatric unit. Tia was a devoted and kindhearted nurse; Michael was a psychiatrist. They made small talk from time to time, connecting over their shared Southern heritage. In that spirit, Michael asked Tia to watch an upcoming SEC college football game one day atop the hospital stairwell. Tia asked: "which game?" Michael replied: "whichever." From that moment, Tia knew that Michael didn't like football, but liked her. In 2024, Tia and Michael became engaged in Mallorca Spain, buttressed by nearly 3 years of shared laughter and dark humor, travel, professional milestones, home buying, and the blending of our human and feline families.

Welcome Party Parking Info

The main parking lot on the south side of the building is available to use starting at 6pm Monday through Friday and at noon on Saturday and Sunday. Parking is $10 (this may be subject to change by the time of your event). Street parking is un-metered east of 15th. *Parking tags, either from the lot attendant or from the Citifyd platform, need to be visible on the dash of the car.* Text Audrey Nelson at (256) 655-6154 for any questions!

Transport for Guests

Free transport to and from the venue for all guests! We are providing 2 buses to take any guests who would like to the venue and back. Parking for CAPE HORN ESTATE VENUE PARK: Please park in the BELOW lot of the venue. *DO NOT PARK AT THE MAIN PARKING LOT.* Entrance is from Hwy 14, right before the Skamania General Store. Handicap parking is available in front of the Grange. We will have signs out to guide guests as well. Can't wait to celebrate with you!
